Tar sands infrastructure corporation Enbridge was ordered to dredge Morrow Lake along the Kalamazoo River. The EPA insisted Enbridge dredge the river in five places before the end of 2013.  The purpose of the dredging is to pull tar sands crude and chemicals out of the river that remain after the 2010 spill. People gather at the Oil & Water Don't Mix Rally on July 14 to draw attention to the 60-year old Enbridge Line 5 pipeline, currently being expanded to carry more tar sands oil.  This pipeline is literally hanging in the Great Lakes and a spill would be catastrophic for communities who rely on these lakes for water.
